By thoroughly assessing your vital statistics, posture, core strength and total body flexibility, we are able to pinpoint what is, or could, cause you pain and can help you to resolve these issues. To do this, we provide:
Injury Prevention Screening
This is a 45-minute assessment to test and measure:
- Girths (waist, hips etc) – this is an indicator of your risk of developing lifestyle-related disease. Carrying excess weight puts more stress on both your organs and your musculoskeletal system.
- Static alignment – do you stand straight? We’ll check for imbalances that lead to neck, shoulder and back pain.
- Flexibility – we use a combination of three tests to find where your body is locked up and what areas we need to focus on stretching to reduce your risk of injury.
- Core strength – Do you know how to use your core muscles? Or do you make your lower back do all the work?
Posture & Fitness Coaching
We’ll design the perfect personalised plan for you, based on your test results and your goals. Even if you choose to train on your own or in groups, you’ll receive rehabilitative exercises to help you achieve perfect posture and muscle balance.
Re-testing
We recommend re-testing every 6-8 weeks, depending on your training frequency. Our clients find that this keeps them honest and motivated to get the results they want!
